Performance Marketing Agency for B2B Companies in Malaysia

Paid media judged on the enquiries your sales team would call qualified.

Paid media across Google, LinkedIn and Meta planned from the enquiry your sales team wants to receive, then bought and reported as one programme.

Overview

Paid media is easy to buy and hard to defend. Every platform will report a cheap click, a lift in impressions and a conversion nobody in your sales team would call a lead. DWP Digital is a performance marketing agency for B2B companies in Malaysia and the region, planning, buying and running paid media against measures your sales team agrees to first.

01The market

02 Digital services

The cheapest click is rarely the cheapest enquiry.

Every platform will show you a cheap click. None of them will tell you it came from a student, a supplier or a competitor’s intern. In B2B, the gap between traffic and pipeline is where most paid budgets quietly disappear. So we plan backwards from the enquiry rather than forwards from the channel. The two CMO Survey figures measure US marketing leaders, not Malaysian ones.

Boards want proof, and the fastest proof is a short-term number. That pressure is how B2B accounts end up buying the cheapest clicks available instead of the ones that reach a buying committee.

Paid media buys attention. SEO builds the ground it lands on.

03

Each channel gets one job in the plan.

Budget drifts towards whichever platform reports the cheapest click, which in B2B is rarely the platform producing enquiries. So the plan gives each channel one job and one stage of the buying process to serve. Three channels carry most B2B plans in this market.

ChannelJob in the planStage it serves
Google Search AdsAnswering the queries of buyers already comparing suppliersEvaluation and shortlist
LinkedIn AdsReaching named roles, industries and company sizes who are not searching yetAwareness and nurture
Meta AdsRetargeting people who have already been on your siteNurture and recall

We use Meta mainly for remarketing, from lists built out of site traffic and campaign engagement.

For reaching roles and industries cold, our LinkedIn marketing work is the better instrument, and the detail on search sits on our Google Ads page.

04

Where a performance marketing agency earns its fee.

A buyer who only buys media leaves you holding the parts that decide whether the money works: the audience, the creative, the page and the definition of a lead. We keep all four inside one retainer. Our fee never takes a cut of your media.

    Planning against a target enquiry

We start from the enquiry your sales team wants to receive, then work backwards to the channels, audiences and keywords that could realistically produce it.

  • 02

Audiences built by role, not by interest

Job function, seniority, industry and named account lists decide who sees the advertising. In B2B the audience does more work than the bid does.

    One concept, adapted per platform

Creative comes from a single brief, adapted for each channel in the plan, so a LinkedIn ad and a Meta ad argue the same case in different rooms.

    The page behind the ad

Our team updates the landing pages as the campaign changes, so the page still says what the ad promised by the time the click lands.

    Measurement your sales team signs

Definitions agreed before launch: what counts as an enquiry, what counts as qualified, and which of the two we answer for in the monthly report.

See how one report covers every channel

05

Your paid media month, from scope to report.

Campaign work runs weekly inside a monthly rhythm. Four stages carry the month: Scope, Plan, Build and Report. Spend, creative and audiences answer to the plan agreed at the start, and where the data contradicts that plan, the plan changes. Not the target.

  1. 01

    Scope

What the quarter has to produce, and what your sales team will accept as a qualified enquiry. Budgets follow that definition rather than a channel wish list.

  2. 02

    Plan

Audiences, messages, channels, budget split and creative direction, written down as a campaign plan and a media plan you approve before we buy anything.

  3. 03

    Build

Tracking goes in first, assets go into production, and the channels launch together. Then we review spend, creative and conversions every week and log what we changed.

  4. 04

    Report

One written report on cost per qualified enquiry, what we changed and what changes next month. Clicks and impressions appear underneath, as diagnostics.

Send your market and your definition of a good enquiry. We reply with a channel mix.

06

You fund the media, and the accounts stay yours.

You pay the platforms directly, from ad accounts registered to your company. DWP Digital never finances, holds or marks up advertising spend, and our fee sits on a line of its own. If the engagement ends, the accounts, the audiences and the history stay with you.

There is no version of this arrangement we profit from quietly.

Google, LinkedIn and Meta bill your own account for media. Our fee never includes or finances ad spend.

07

Cost per qualified enquiry is the number we answer for.

We report against the measures your sales team agreed to, usually cost per qualified enquiry and the rate at which enquiries become opportunities. Tracking goes in before the first campaign runs, so we can trace an enquiry to its source wherever your data allows.

Clicks and impressions are diagnostics.

Paid media inside a Marketing as a Service retainer appears in the same monthly report as search, content and social, read against one plan rather than five dashboards.

Cost per qualified enquiry is the headline measure. Clicks and impressions stay in the report as diagnostics.

08

Frequently asked questions about paid media in B2B.

Ownership, channel mix and creative come up before anyone agrees a budget. Everything bought with your money belongs to your company from day one: the accounts, the audiences, the data and the campaign history. The answers below cover the rest of what a scope settles.

Who owns the ad accounts and data?

Your company does. We work inside accounts registered to you and billed to you, with our team holding manager access. If the engagement ends, the accounts and everything in them stay yours, including the audiences and the campaign history built up during the work.

Which channels do you recommend for B2B?

It depends on three things we name in the plan: how many people already search for what you sell, how tightly a role list describes your buyers, and how long your buying cycle runs. Search catches buyers already evaluating. LinkedIn reaches the ones who are not looking yet. Meta brings back the ones who left.

Do you produce the ad creative?

Yes, inside the retainer. One concept becomes the variations each platform needs, so the LinkedIn ad and the Meta ad come from the same brief rather than two. The same pod builds the landing pages behind them, which is why the page rarely contradicts the ad.

How quickly do paid campaigns produce enquiries?

That depends on your starting point, the budget, the length of your buying cycle and the data already sitting in the account. So we do not name a week. We treat the opening period as a tuning phase, report what moved every month, and change the plan against it rather than against a forecast nobody could stand behind.

What does campaign management cover?

Everything after launch: budget pacing, ad optimisation, landing page changes, weekly performance checks and reporting. It also covers the coordination that keeps the media and the pages in step, which is the part that usually falls between two suppliers. You deal with one point of contact throughout.

A paid media plan starts from your market and your sales team’s definition of a good enquiry. Send both through the contact page or to hello@dwpdigital.com, and we will reply with a channel mix, the job each channel does and a rough budget shape.
